Can I pay on the door?
Tickets can be bought in advance at the Early Bird ticket price via the Torch website www.torchtheatre.co.uk or purchased at the standard price on the gate on the night.
When will my ticket arrive?
Your ticket should be posted to you instantly after purchase, if you still havent received your ticket a week before the showing, please contact the Torch Theatre Box Office on 01646 695267.
What happens if there’s rain?
In the event of rain the show will go on. We will have waterproof ponchos available if you have not brought your own. Please always assume that our events will go ahead, we will contact you in advance if there has been a change in circumstance and the event will not take place.
Am I able to bring food and drink?
We have endeavored to find sites that allow our visitors to bring their own food and drink. The Torch Theatre has also worked at great lengths to provide you with the best possible catering at our events, so you’ll always have a great choice of what to eat. Please check the specific event pages for more details on what’s available at each venue.
Can I bring my own seating, and what can’t I bring?
Yes, please free to bring a picnic chair or blanket to sit on and also warm clothing as it can get cold later on in the evening. You are not permitted to bring tents, win breakers or any pop up structures. We’re happy for umbrellas to be used before the screening but please take them down when the film begins, not to obstruct the view from people sitting behind you.
Can I smoke?
Smoking is acceptable at most of our venues, but we kindly ask that if you do feel the urge, that you do smoke at the back or sides of the audience. Each venue has its own smoking policy so rules may vary from place to place.
Can I bring alcohol? Alcohol will be served at every venue, however we ask that you don’t bring your own alcohol into the venue itself.
Can I bring a dog to the screening?
We kindly ask that you contact the venue directly to find out their policy on dogs attending the event.
Will there be toilets?
All of our venues will have on-site toilets for visitors to use, free of charge. There will also be disabled toilets available.
Are children allowed?
Children are permitted at all of our events, if they’re of age to see the films classification. We ask that if your child looks young for his/her age that you bring their photo identification.
If I forget my ticket, is there anything I can do?
We ask that you do bring out a printed copy of your ticket, or have a copy of it saved on your smart phone. If you do forget your ticket we will require photo identification for us to match you with our ticketing data.
If I can no longer attend, can I refund my ticket?
If you’re no longer able to attend, we’re happy for you to transfer your ticket to someone else but unfortunately we cannot offer refunds.
I’m deaf or hard of hearing, will there be subtitles?
Unfortunately none of the films will be subtitled.
Will there be wheelchair access?
The majority of our sites will have wheelchair access. We will make reasonable endeavours to ensure the screenings are accessible to all. Please check the individual event page for more details and email or telephone the venue if you have any queries.
